This project was a collaboration between St. John's University and Ravensbourne University, where students from New York City and London would work together for a month to create posters based on how we connected. Our first week was spent getting to know each other on a deeper level and figuring out what we had in common. In doing so, we started to collect a variety of images of stuff that we like. For example, we collected images that were music lyrics, animals, phrases heard recently, foods, and certain objects we see every day. Then we decided on a theme, subway maps, and made it by using the items we collated and making a subway map collage. The upcoming weeks were more focused on elevating the previous design. Still the same themes, but instead of using images, we used vectors to make a collage subway map.  In the third week, we continued with the subway map collage themes, but we changed the color palette and added certain elements we didn’t include in the previous ones.
