In my artistic exploration of the theme “Enchantment,” I found myself remembering some of my favorite movies like Enchanted, Barbie: Thumbelina, Barbie and the 12 Dancing Princesses, Frozen, and Encanto. Watching these movies and seeing these magical scenes pulled me into a realm where I evoked a sense of wonder and awe. A place where anything can happen, and anything is possible. So, in my series of works, I chose to explore my imagination by creating creatures and scenes that would pique viewers’ curiosity. I used colored markers & watercolors. Using traditional art materials, I created an enchanted narrative that beckons viewers to escape the constraints of reality. My work celebrates the enchantment found in the fantastical, inviting spectators to delve into the extraordinary and embrace the limitless possibilities of their imaginative faculties.
